The truth is, when people don't like playing with donkeys, it's because
- Donkeys end up winning a lot of pots (because they're donkeys, and they play a lot of pots) and people don't like losing pots to inferior players, and
- It takes them out of their comfort zone of predictable, by-the-books poker.
The reason I have this on my mind is the following sequence of hands from last night:
The subject sits down, and only two hands later...

When you're playing with a loose passive mule like this, you've gotta tighten up and let him take down a lot of small pots while you wait to work him over on a big one. Only a made hand is going to beat a player like this, so adjust accordingly, and give the multi-street bluffing a rest. In the end, you'll often find that this type of player takes 2 or 3 pots to every 1 you take, but you're crushing him in the number of chips on the table.
