It looks like you're good to go.

I think he had a str8 draw that didn't make it (because with 6-5 he would have raised the turn to protect his hand) or a pair. I don't put him on an ace.

Still, it might be right to check and see if he bluffs at it, but I think I'd lead out something that he'll call.

This is one you'd get right a high percentage of the time in live play, but harder online.

why no bet on the turn?

I obviously hate these spots; but unless I've seen him bluff befoe which is unlikely in this amount of hands, I fold and wait for a better time.

If he is doing it once, he will do it again. These type guys are ATMs

The big pot-sized bet on the river confused me. I generally interpret that as strength. Good players will make big bets on the river when they sense that their opponent is strong and likely to call. But in this case, I didn't provide any indication that I was strong - this is what makes the big river bet so suspicious. Also, my opponent's general fishiness played a role.

I called, and he showed JTo.

Will, as for the turn check, I think I will mix it up between checking and betting here, although I should probably be betting more against a bad player like this, since he/she will play pretty straightforward, calling with 8-x, 9-T, 6-9, or other PP, and raising with 88, 7-x, or 5-6. I was planning on taking a bet/check/bet line, but given how much fishies like to peel light with A-x, I hesitated on the river. But with A-x there, I expect a fish to make a smaller value bet, so I thought A-x was very unlikely unless it was A-8.

I misread the problem and didn't notice he led out on the river. Obviously he was trying to rep the ace. Good call.
