I had 2 interesting hands from last night's session. Presented here in pop quiz form...
Hand 1
Villain is 20/15/2.3 over 81 hands
Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter
BB: 46.72 BB
UTG: 40.24 BB
CO: 154.36 BB
BTN: 151 BB
Hero (SB): 152.64 BB
Pre-Flop: A A dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, CO raises to 3.4BB, BTN folds, Hero raises to 12BB, BB folds, CO raises to 28.8BB, Hero calls 16.8BB
Not standard, but given the general increase in PF 4-betting from aggressive opponents, I can check-raise all-in on a lot of boards and stack a lot of TT-QQ hands that are folding to a PF push.
Flop: (58.6BB) K K 8 (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO checks
Turn: (58.6BB) K K 8 [ 9 ] (2 Players)
Hero bets 36BB, CO calls 36BB
River: (130.6BB) K K 8 9 [ T ] (2 Players)
Hero?

Bet 32 BBs on hand 1 and fold to any raise.......smallish bet minimizes your risk and avoids a check/bluff scenario
On hand 2, unless the guy has proven to be a donk, you are beat. Fold
H1- I'd either bet about 45BB or just check, not sure which, would have to be at the table. Think its really about 50/50 you have the better hand.
H2 - I would just fold and wait for a better spot. There's a good chance he thinks you were on hearts and missed, but still not worth it.

btw, on H2, I would definitely bet the turn after he checked. Your check behind makes it look like a draw.

Hand 1 -
either bet 1/2 pot and call a shove or just shove yourself. I think checking is bad because QQ/JJ (his most likely hand) will check behind and you won't get any value. Bet/folding is bad because your hand is under-repped and you've taken a weird line. If he has AK or TT, so be it. You'll be getting like 3:1 on a call facing a shove after betting any reasonable amount.
Hand 2 - Fold.
